Help for Victims of Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence

We know it’s hard to admit to being sexually assaulted or to break free of an abusive relationship. We also know going to the police or leaving an abuser isn’t the right answer for everyone.

We truly care about victims and their families. And we firmly believe that everyone - man, woman or child - deserves a life free from violence.

At PEACE for Families victims of sexual assault and domestic violence will find assistance and encouragement. With offices in Auburn and Roseville, we provide comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Placer County, including the cities of Auburn, Lincoln, Rocklin and Roseville.

Services Include:

• 24-hour emergency shelter (safe house) for battered women and their children
• Transitional housing
• Assistance in obtaining emergency food, clothing and transportation
• 24-hour crisis response to hospitals
• Hospital accompaniment for rape victims
• In-person crisis intervention for victims and their families
• Legal and social services, advocacy and accompaniment, including assistance with temporary restraining orders and custody orders
• Support groups
• Peer and professional counseling
• Individual and group counseling
• Counseling for significant others of individuals who have been sexually assaulted
• Educational and prevention workshops an presentations
• Information and referrals
